OH EM GEE THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD I STARTED TALKING IN AN ENGLISH ACCENT THE WHOLE REST OF THE DAY. My boyfriend and I always talk about when we're gonna have it next. I go to school abroad and it's always on my "Must Eat Before Going Back to School" list. The fish is fried so crispy and goes perfectly with the malt vinegar and tarter sauce. I'm salivating just thinking about it. Just yum! The service is so nice and genuine too. The best we've had, hands down!!

This has business has been in the city of Orange my whole life and I love it. I got the daily special (1fish, 2 zucchini, chips and coleslaw) plus I added on a 3 piece medium shrimp. Everything was fresh and delicious. Price was reasonable too!

The service and the food is always great here. We've been coming here for years. Our meals consisted of the fish, shrimp, and chips along with clams, scallops, and cole slaw.

What in the world!!!! This place is a true hidden gem! I recently started eating fish again when I was on vacation in London. People kept saying "you have to try the fish and chips" in London and I caved in. That was the best fish and chips I'd ever had! Until I had H Salt Esquire Fish & Chips! It was like London all over again!! The fish was perfect! And I mean perfectly fried and not fishy at all. It just melted in my mouth at every bite. The tartar sauce was a great compliment. And the French fries were the thick. Very yummy. I also tried the fried butterfly shrimp and those were scrumptious! This place blew my mind. I don't understand why H Salt Esquire Fish & Chips doesn't have more reviews. Gotta let the cat out of the bag, this establishment is great! This is how my go to for fish! The fish and shrimp, as well as the clam chowder were amazing. 10/10

Probably the best fish and chips I've ever had. I love the batter on the fish and how it's light airy and crispy. I get the combo and switch out the fries for fried zucchini and it's truly delicious. The zucchini is fried in the same batter as the fish so it's perfectly crispy. Wait a few minutes to let the zucchini cool though because if you eat it right away, it's super hot in the inside! Every time I've come in, there's no line or anything so orders come out fairly quickly. The ambiance is dated and you can tell this place has been around for a while, but don't let that deter you from a great fish and chip meal!

Food: The best fried fish and zucchini I've ever had. The fish so soft and has a thin crispy batter. Zucchini is still crispy even after being fried in oil. Service: they're quick to order and will take a few minutes for your food. Ambiance: it's a run down shop, but just so nostalgic because my parents took me here when I was a kid.

I've been passing by this place for 2 years and knew that I would succumb to my fried food hankering at some point, and it happened a few days ago. Blast from the past- literally- from the nondescript ordering counter to the dated booths, but I was definitely taken aback by the Asian dude in the hairnet both taking orders and removing frozen food from the freezer to be fried and served, as his co-worker was on break. No overall complaints due to low expectations- although the water cups were like Dixie size so many refills were in order due to the sodium content of the food. The fish was hot and tender on the inside , the clam chowder cup had some actual bits of clam and wasn't runny, and the crab cake had flavor. I'm pretty sure my fried fish hankering will not return for a few more years, so if this establishment is still open then, I will return.

This is a great place. The person working here is so nice. They have a bunch of regulars. They have lots of fried seafood options. Everything was tasty, fresh, and yummy. No food poisoning concerns here! Very fair prices. Cash only. I wish they accepted credit cards. Small little mom and pop shop.
